This year, Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam (PA) was among the 20 organisations that participated in the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration organized by the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB).
His Majesty Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam; His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, The Crown Prince; His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik; His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen and other members from the Royal family graced the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
The annual Hari Raya Aidilfitri event was held at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas. The theme for this year’s event was “Memperkasa Penglibatan Masyarakat bagi Mendukung Wawasan Negara” or Empowering Community Engagement to Support National Vision. PA is representing this year’s theme under the third category, which is “Ekonomi Berdaya Tahan” or Sustainable Economy.
His Majesty and members of the Royal family toured the exhibition at the lobby of ICC. PA Acting Managing Director, Yang Mulia Haji Kula bin Haji Metasan had the opportunity to brief on PA’s role as upstream and downstream regulator as well as initiatives in supporting to achieve a sustainable economy. His Majesty ended his meet-and-greet with PA officers and staff with signing of a commemorative plaque.
PA also showcased a video presentation on the history and achievements of the oil and gas industry to date.
