On 6th July 2024, Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam (PA) hosted a Quarter 2 (Q2) townhall and also invited Heads of Department and Officers of Department of Energy (DOE), Prime Minister’s Office to join us.
Amongst the agenda was a reminder on the safety aspect and the importance of our role commemorating on the Piper Alpha Incident. The attendees watched a video clip summarising the incident happened in 1988 and followed up with group discussions to portray our understanding.
Other agendas were a presentation on scorecard and strengthen further PA’s roles and processes, both which gave an insight to the current PA’s performance, appreciation towards individuals and teams who had excelled in Quarter 2, and a renewed perspective on how PA as an organisation is moving forward.
