A total of more than 100 Petroleum Authority staff participated in the first organization wide team building activity facilitated by EpiPeople Consultants.
The one-day event was held on Saturday, 27th March 2021 at The Rizqun International Hotel. In attendance was Petroleum Authority’s interim Managing Director, Haji Azhar bin Haji Yahya, management and staff.
Following an internal staff engagement survey conducted by the HR & Administration department in 2020, the teambuilding activities was one of the staff engagement programs lined up this year, not only bond staff closer but to strengthen communication, decision-making, collaboration and leadership skills.
The full day event began with a short ice breaker followed by a workshop called The People Manual – A workshop that focuses on effective collaboration and team productivity by understanding individual differences within an organization and how to overcome them.
In the afternoon, the team building activity continued with several games and challenges that focuses on decision making, communications and collaboration. The practical application of the activities demonstrated how staff could apply in the workplace.
