In conjunction with the month of Ramadhan and as part of the Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam (PA) Gives Back Campaign initiative to commemorate its fifth anniversary, Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam (PABD) in collaboration with The IMPIAN Project, organised a Breaking of Fast event with Families of Children with Special Needs on Tuesday, 24 Ramadhan 1446H / 25 March 2025M at one of the hotels in Gadong.
Attending as the Guest of Honour at the event was Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Deputy Minister (Energy) at the Prime Minister’s Office as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam. Also present were the PABD Board of Directors, PABD Managing Director, senior officer from the Department of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office and PABD, and representatives from The IMPIAN Project.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a Doa Kesyukuran led by PABD representative, Yang Mulia Haji Noor Azlan bin Haji Magon, followed by a welcoming remark by Yang Mulia Erni Mahyuni binti Haji Asbinin, PABD Head of the Human Resources.
During the event, Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah presented donations to 17 children with special needs. This event reflects PA’s commitment to support those in need, in line with Islamic values and corporate social responsibility. It also aims to foster inclusivity by bringing together PA staff and children with special needs along with their families.
