Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam (PA) hosted a knowledge sharing session with Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM) on Wednesday, 8th March 2023 at the Prime Minister’s Office Building.
The session started with welcoming remarks by Yang Mulia Haji Kula bin Haji Metasan, PA Acting Managing Director and Encik Rahizan bin Ahmad, General Manager, Strategic Relations and Advisory of MPM.
To further enrich the knowledge sharing session between both parties, the morning session commenced with an overview of PA and MPM as well as evolution of Brunei Darussalam’s oil and gas industry landscape. This was followed by a series of presentations by MPM related to effective oil and gas regulatory topics such as fiscal terms, bidding round and management of petroleum arrangements.
Attended by more than 60 participants, the session serves as a platform to gain and exchange technical knowledge, industry best practices and encourages further collaboration efforts between PA and MPM.
